Donor Tribute Day

- The West Point Aassociation of Graduates Donor Tribute Day was held on May 3, 2012, at West Point. The purpose of the day is to thank and recognize donors who have supported West Point in annual, planned, or lifetime gifts. This year's event was held in conjunction with cadet Projects Day where the senior cadets showcased their thesis or final project in front of faculty and judges. Donors had the opportunity to view the cadet projects, each lunch in Kimsey Athletic Center with the Athletic Director, tour the new USMA Preparatory School, and attend panel presentations given by the Superintendent, Dean, faculty, and cadets.

- The West Point Association of Graduates annual Lifetime and Cullum Society Donor Award Dinner was held on May 2, 2012, in Herbert Alumni Center. The purpose of the dinner is to thank and recognize those Lifetime and Cullum Society donors who have reached a milestone in their giving and support of West Point. At the dinner, we promoted and inducted 18 donors into one of the six Lifetime Giving Societies and presented two awards to members of the 5 Star Cullum Society, which represents a significant planned gift in support of the Academy..

Boat Dedication for Sam Brown '06 and Laura Walker '03
- 22 photos
- The Army Crew Team dedicated two boats on May 1, 2012. The first was named after Laura Walker '03, who was killed in action in 2005. The second was named after Sam Brown '06, who was wounded in Afghanistan in 2008. Sam was able to be present for the dedication ceremony and spent some time in the boat with members of the Varsity Crew Team that afternoon.
